Pickup process is a complete joke. I got a phone call from them saying my online order was ready to pick up in the store. I went to the store to pick it up. The store was not busy at all. I walked up to the sign that says "pickup" and was told to go to the other side of the counter to a different employee. That employee told me to go back to where i started. I was passed off four times to four different employees before anyone started helping me. Apparently my item was staged in a different part of the store according to the notes on my order. 10 minutes later they discovered it was in the pickup area all along. If I'm the first ever online order picked up at this store then i apologize for being harsh. Otherwise this was a compete fail.
from the service desk thru all my questions and several purchasez i needed, all of the associates were available and helpful. I find coming to Lowe's in Louisville a more comfortable, professional and friendly shopping experience. I live in Boulder, CO where there is a competing store, but difficult to find a sales person let alone a helpful one. That's why I will drive the Lowes out of the way-15 to 20 minutes-
Coffee versus tea. Cats versus dogs. Those who love the Denver Broncos versus those who are wrong. That's what Home Depot is compared to Lowe's. Some people swear fealty to HD. Others to Lowe's. For an Average Joe like me, if they've got what I'm looking for I will buy it there. If they don't, I pop across the street and get it there. I've found different answers at both locations for different things. Both train their employees well. Relatively. All in all, this is a Lowe's stocked with nice people and a great inventory.
My husband and I went in recently to look at appliances and take advantage of their Black Friday deals. We went in one day and were helped by very friendly people, however, they informed us that the appliance staff was not there that day. The 3 people that helped us were from different departments and were unable to answer all of the questions we had. We didn’t mind coming back the next day since we had to measure the space for the washer dryer we wanted to get. The next day there wasn’t anyone in the appliance department. We walked around for 20 minuets and then finally found someone who was helping someone else who arrived after we had. We waited for her to become available for another 10 minuets and then decided waiting 30 minuets was long enough. We went back one more time to find the appliance person busy again. We decided to walk over to Home Depot and ended up purchasing our washer/dryer and fridge from them since the man there was knowledgeable and available to help us. We aren’t upset, we just want management to be aware so that they can make the changes necessary so that other people don’t have to waste their time like we did.

We refinished our kitchen and used all Lowe's cabinetry. We worked with Monica and were 100% satisfied with the products and, especially, with her attention to detail. She is extremely helpful and professional, has a complete knowledge of their products, and will follow the process through from beginning to end. We would go back to Lowe's for cabinets without hesitation.
